The photo at left shows a view west towards the Klickitat Trail (and Columbia Hills on the horizon) in upper Swale Canyon, about three-quarters of a mile downstream from Harms Road. The photo at right shows a view east along the Klickitat Trail from a point deeper in upper Swale Canyon (about 1.5 miles downstream from Harms Road). Photos taken on April 23, 2010. It's still early at this point in the season with the willows still in bloom and only a hint of new leaves on the hawthorns and mock oranges.
