Note: This is a relatively difficult route due to the number of downed trees across the 3 trees, length, steep elevation loss and gains and exposure along the eastern end of the Cedar Creek Trail where it follows a ridgetop steeply down to Fifteenmile Creek. The trail tread there has numerous spots where there are rolly rocks atop harder packed trail. In addition, the Underhill Trail from Forest Road #4421 dowhnill to Fifteenmile Creek is so lightly used that once the grasses have grown, the route can be difficult to find.
