This photo shows a close-up of the flower of slender godetia as seen along Coyote Creek Road in the Umpqua National Forest.........June 25, 2005. Note the pendant flower bud, a characteristic of this species. Although not as easily seen in this view, the sepals are offset to one side of the base of the flower.
