Sandberg's Sulphur-flower, Sandberg's Sulphur Flower, Sulphur-flowered Buckwheat
Eriogonum umbellatum var. sandbergii
Synonym: Eriogonum umbellatum var. umbellatum
What appears to be Sandberg's sulphur flower buckwheat as observed along the Cedar Creek Trail #457 at a bald and grassland about 3 miles east of Fifteenmile Campground, Mount Hood National Forest......June 27, 2023. Note the long branches of the inflorescence which eliminates var. haussknechtii. Var. modocense would be the only other possibility, but it's range supposedly doesn't come that far north.
