Drying meadows along Road 16 in Logan Valley, viewed northwards towards the Strawberry Mt. Range. Although hidden, Strawberry Mt. is located behind the peak at left.............July 18, 2010. The meadows here have dried noticeably since the last visit on July 3, 2010. Large clusters of blanket flowers (Gaillardia aristata) and velvet lupine (Lupinus leucophyllus) are in the middle distance, although the lupines are hard to see due to their gray color.
