The photo above shows a close-up of the inflorescence of large sticky goldenweed as seen along the Umatilla Rim Trail........June 24, 2007.The inflorescence is not fully mature. Note the ray flowers and the large, somewhat spreading bracts as well as the numerouslong, spreading hairs in the inflorescence.
