The photo above shows a close-up of the serrate leaves of large sticky goldenweed as seen along the Umatilla Rim Trail........June 24, 2007. Note the long hairs on both surfaces of the leaf blades.

The photo above shows a close-up of the inflorescence of large sticky goldenweed as seen along the Umatilla Rim Trail........June 24, 2007. I am assuming that the inflorescence is not fully mature. Note the ray flowers and the large, somewhat spreading bracts as well as the numerous long, spreading hairs in the inflorescence.
