Wildflower Bloom at Brooks Memorial State Park (off US 97 near Satus Pass).......April 28, 2014.

One of the vernally moist meadows at the south end of Brooks Memorial State Park...........April 28, 2014. In another week, there should be plenty of Carey's and Hooker's balsamroots, Hooker's onions, bighead clovers and sagebrush violets among other wildflowers in bloom in this meadow.

Weather: Partly cloudy with almost no breeze. Temps in the low 50s.
