flower bud of cut-leaved microseris as seen along road K1000 to the east of
the Mt. Adams Highway. Note that the outer involucral bracts are broader but
much shorter than the inner bracts.

or lower stem leaf, a nodding flower bud, and a leaf from midstem of cut-leaved
microseris. Photographed in a vernal stream bed along Road K1000 to the east

nod at first but become erect as the flower head blooms.
