Take care crossing Crofton Creek, which is running strong at this time of year. It especially runs high in the afternoon after a full day of melting at higher elevations!

1. Lacelip Fern: Cheilanthes gracillima - Only in shaded crevices of large boulders on upper east-facing slopes of Crofton Butte.

2. Cascade Parsley Fern: Cryptogramma cascadense - Only in shaded crevices of large boulders on upper east-facing slopes of Crofton Butte.
