The photo above shows a close-up of a stem
leaf of rabbitbrush goldenweed. It is much longer and narrower than the leaf
of E. greenei. The similar E. viscidiflora (green rabbitbrush)
has similar to broader leaves that are twisted. Photographed on the south-facing
slopes of the Ridge of Wonders immediately west of Little Mt. Adams........September

The photo above shows a relatively large rabbitbrush
goldenweed as seen along Road #82 between Roads #190 and #200 at the southeastern
corner of Mt. Adams..........August 25, 2005. This specimen is well over
one meter broad. Many plants of this species on Mt. Adams are only 30-50 cm
wide. Rabbitbrush goldenweed would make an attractive plant for the rock garden
or dry, open forest in the area around Trout Lake, Glenwood and BZ Corners.
