dark bluish fruits of bead lily as seen along the Island Springs Trail #66 at
Island Springs Creek on the eastern slopes of Mt. Adams........August
25, 2005. Note the long, spreading hairs on the pedicel below the fruit in the
photo above.

Note the long, narrow anthers which are held perpendicular to the thick, white
filaments.
