Pale-anther Glacier Lily: Erythronium grandiflorum var. pallidum

A nice cluster of blooming pale-anther glacier lilies as seen in the Klickitat Wildlife Recreation Area about one-quarter mile west of the Glenwood-Goldendale Highway........April 6, 2013.

Today the morning weather was in the upper 40s with light winds and mostly cloudy skies. The afternoon was mostly sunny with temps to the low 60s with light winds.

Note: Turkey hunting season begins in a week or so, so please take care when hiking or riding horseback in this area. If you are in a group, please talk so that hunters can hear you!
