Meadows which have become snow free only during the past two weeks at Bird Creek Meadows, Mount Adams............August 8, 2012. This is taken along the upper portion of Gotchen Creek about 300 meters south of the junction with the Round the Mountain Trail #9. See other photos of the area taken on this date below.

Wildflower bloom here is still very early, so the peak bloom won't occur until late August or so this year.
