* Spring Whitlow Grass: Draba verna - Commonat all elevations elevations.
* Fringe Pod: Thysanocarpus curvipes - Plants are very small, but beginning to bloom at moderate elevations.
* Smooth Prairie Star: Lithophragma glabrum - Fairly common.
* Brittle-leaved Saxifrage: Micranthes fragosa - Fairly numerous in moist soils along the lower section of the road.
* Woolly-pod Milk-vetch: Astragalus purshii - A few plants in full bloom at mid to upper elevations along the road.
* Columbia Gorge Broad-leaf Lupine: Lupinus latifolius var. latifolius (formerly var. thompsonianus) - Flower buds on racemes becoming visible on south exposures at medium elevation.
* Big-head Clover: Trifolium macrocephalum - A few plants beginning to bloom at mid elevations.
* Filaree: Erodium cicutarium- A few in bloom at lower elevations.
* Butterfly-loving (Pungent) Desert Parsely: Lomatium papilioniferum - Beginning to bloom.
* Biscuit Root: Lomatium macrocarpum - White flowered versions beginning to bloom, not common.
* Bare-stem Desert Parsley: Lomatium nudicaule - A few in bloom.
* Salt and Pepper: Lomatium piperi - Abundant.
* Poet's Shooting Star: Dodecatheon poeticum - Several plants seen in bloom at lower elevations along the road.
* Midget Phlox: Microsteris gracilis- Small plants, beginning to bloom.
* Small-flowered Blue-eyed Mary: Collinsia parviflora - Small plants, beginning to bloom at all elevations.
* Balsamroot: Balsamorhiza careyana x deltoidea - A few plants beginning to bloom.
* Gold Stars: Crocidium multicaule - Many in bloom at all elevations.
