Black Elderberry: Sambucus racemosa (var. melanocarpa ?) - In bloom in late June into July. I haven't been at this site when the berries are fully ripe to verify that this is red elderberry rather than black elderberry, but the latter is generally found on the south and eastern parts of the mountain.
