Small natural lake along Trail #1381, Wenatchee National Forest: July 25, 2009.

A view west along a small natural lake located along Naneum Creek about one mile east of FS Rd 3530. The outlet from the lake to Naneum Creek is at the west end of the lake. Trail #1381 begins where the rough road descends to lake level at the lower right in the photo. Photographed July 25, 2009.

Trail #1381 took us through riparian areas along Naneum Creek in coniferous forest, open sagebrush slopes and along talus from a road that descends towards Naneum Creek from Grouse Springs (in the western Colockum State Wildlife Area) west along the north side of a natural lake with an outlet to Naneum Creek at its western edge, and then westward along the edge of Naneum Creek to Road #3530.
