The Coffer Ranch is a 492 acre private ranch located along Mill Creek to the northeast of Prineville, OR. Deschutes Land Trust has worked with the owners in 2010 to permanently protect the 492 acres of ranchland and its wildlife habitat.

The conserved area includes about a mile of frontage along Mill Creek with its springs and wetlands. Mill Creek is home to a number of wildlife species including redband trout, Columbia spotted frogs and and numerous songbirds. There are also numerous wildflowers along the creek and on upland slopes including lupines, balsamroots, bitterrot and phlox. There are old-growth western juniper and ponderosa pine woodlands on slopes above the creek along with a native bunchgrass understory.

* Please print, fill out and bring Deschutes Land Trust's waiver with you to the meeting site.
