Modoc sulfur flower buckwheat observed along FS Road 3910 about one mile north of the Californica border, Mt. Bidwell Recreation Area, Fremont-Winema National Forest.......July 31, 2020. Note: There's a possibility that this could be variety nevadense which is also in the area. They are very close in appearance with the latter having less tomentose lower leaf surfaces.
