The photo at upper left shows a view of the Adams Glacier and North Cleaver from across a glacier fed lake about 1000' above High Camp. The photo at upper right shows a view of Mt. Adams and its terminal and lateral moraines from High Camp. The central photo shows a view north from High Camp towards the Goat Rocks Wilderness. The meadows of upper Killen Creek basin can be seen at lower left. The photo at lower left shows a view northeast into the drainages of the two upper branches of the Muddy Fork River which descend from the Lava and Lyman Glaciers on the northeast side of Mt. Adams. the cinder cone at the left of the image is Red Butte (+7000') while the ridge at skyline at the right is the northern edge of the Devils Gardens (7700-8200'). The photo at lower right shows a close-up view of the Adams Glacier.
