6800' on the northeastern flanks of Mt. Adams..........July 23, 2005. Note the oblanceolate petals which are completely white, lacking any colored
spots and the 10 petal-like stamens, capped by a tiny, rounded anther. The broad
sepals, which are alternate to the petals, are green with thick white margins.
