A view west to Mt. Hood from Lookout Mt., Mt. Hood National Forest..............July 31, 2009. ----- View northeast across the eastern slopes of the Mt. Hood National Forest................July 31, 2009.

Two views from near the summit of Lookout Mt, Mt. Hood National Forest.................July 31, 2009. The photo at left is viewed westward towards Mt. Hood while the photo at right shows forested slopes in a view to the northeast. Normally the view in this direction would be quite stupendous as on a good day, one could see the Blue Mts. in the vicinity of Pendleton, OR (perhaps 120 miles away) from here.
