A view southwest from the Skyline Trail #385 across clear cuts and burned areas towards Logan Valley. The Steens Mountain can also be seen from this location, which is about 2 miles from the trailhead at an elevation of 7030'............May 28, 2014.

This trail was hiked from the eastern trailhead at the end of FS Road #101 off Grant County Road #62. The first mile offers views south to Summit Prairie while the top of the ridge at about the 2 mile mark offers sweeping views of Logan Valley and views south to the Steens Mountain many miles to the south.
