Buckbean: Menyanthes trifoliata The photo at right shows the attractive inflorescence of buckbean (Menyanthes trifoliata) as seen along the Willard Springs Trail in Conboy Lake NWR..........May 5, 2007. This plant is currently in bud, although the wetlands are so far dry this year, so there will be fewer plants to see.
