The photo above and below shows the mature fruits of fern-leaf desert parsley as seen along the Island Springs Trail #66 near where it reaches the top of the Ridge of Wonders.........August 25, 2005. The long pedicels below the mature fruits help distinguish this from Lomatium dissectum which has sessile fruits or fruits onvery short pedicels (1-2 mm long).
