* Yellow Bells: Fritillaria pudica - Only several in bloom.

* Grass Widows: Olsynium douglasii var. douglasii - Waning bloom.

Veiny Dock: Rumex venosus - Leaves emerging from the sand near the road.

* Line-leaf Montia: Montia linearis - A few plants seen in bloom.

* Spring Whitlow Grass: Draba verna - numerous

* Scale Pod: Idahoa scapigera - numerous

* Smooth Prairie Stars: Lithophragma glabrum - Fairly numerous although small.

* Rusty-hair Saxifrage: Micranthes rufidula - A few beginning to bloom.

* Filaree: Erodium cicutarium - Moderate bloom.

* Columbia Desert Parsley: Lomatium columbianum - Some decent sized plants in bloom.

* Gorman's Salt and Pepper: Lomatium gormanii

* Butterfly-loving (Pungent) Desert Parsley: Lomatium papilioniferum - A few plants in bloom.

* Biscuit Root: Lomatium macrocarpum (yellow flowered form) - Beginning to bloom, and fairly numerous.

* Salt and Pepper: Lomatium piperi - Fairly numerous, nearing the end of bloom.

* Small-flowered Blue-eyed Mary: Collinsia parviflora - A few in bloom.

* Gold Stars: Crocidium multicaule - Moderate bloom.


Animals Seen: western bluebirds, scrub jays
