Characteristics:

1. 3-10 terminal, star-shaped flowers. April bloom.

2. Berries greenish yellow.

3. Leaves with parallel veins & at right angles to stem.

4. Grows 8-24 inches tall.


Uses or Importances:

1. Edible berry (Not tasty).

2. Decorative garden plant.

3. Juices stop bleeding.

4. Young shoots cooked- taste like asparagus.
