Felt Lichen, Tree Pelt: Peltigera collina (Synonym: Peltigera scutata) - One of the few Peltigera species to regularly grow on bare tree trunks. All other Peltigera species are found on mossy substrateson the ground or at the base of trees. It also has a distinctive powdery soredia along the wavy margins.
