What may be felt lichen (Peltigera polydactylon) growing on a mossy bank along the Eagle Creek Trail between Metaka and Punchbowl Falls in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.........February 19, 2012. Note the brown to gray-brown upper surface.
