Today the weather was in the upper 40s to mid 50s in the Gorge. It was partly cloudy at Catherine Creek and the wind was very light.

Bitterroot: Lewisia rediviva - Lots of leaves

* Lineleaf Montia: Montia linearis -

Meadow Larkspur: Delphinium distichum - Leaves coming up.

Upland Larkspur: Delphinium nuttallianum - Many leaves are up.

Western Buttercup: Ranunculus occidentalis var. occidentalis - Many leaves up.

* Smooth Prairie Stars: Lithophragma glabrum - One plant seen in bloom along the creek.

Brittle-leaved Saxifrage: Micranthes fragosa - A number of plants seen with flowers in bud.

* Rusty-hair Saxifrage: Micranthes rufidula -

* Columbia Desert Parsley: Lomatium columbianum - Beginning to flower on slopes east of the creek.

* Salt and Pepper: Lomatium piperi - Numerous.

* Gold Stars: Crocidium multicaule - Fairly numerous on the east side of the creek.
