Beware of the plant at right, found along the trail in the Little Spokane River Natural Area. This is Poison Ivy, Toxicodendron radicans. Remember the saying, "Leaves of three, let it be!".

* Columbia Needlegrass: Acnatherum nelsonii ssp. nelsonii (Synonym: Stipa occidentalis var. nelsonii) - This could be misidentified and be Acnatherum nelsonii ssp. dorei instead.
