Wildflower Bloom Reports for Central Oregon

Wildflower Bloom in Central Oregon

April 30, 2000

Ramsey Canyon Rd may be accessed from Oregon Highway 19 south of Condon, OR adjacent to Dyer State Wayside or via Carter Hill Rd at Mayville, OR (several miles further south). Ramsey Canyon Rd is about a mile east of OR 19. It climbs gently through rolling farmland with some natural although disturbed vegetation on both sides of the road in strips 20-100 feet wide, with tilled fields a further distance from the road. The site viewed was about 1/2 mile south of the only farmhouse, and the site has a nice view north to Condon, OR some 20 miles away.

Both photos at right are of Donnell's Desert-parsley ? from Ramsey Canyon Road............April 30, 2000.
