How the Substrate Concentration Affects the Reaction Rate of Calalase / Peroxide Reactions

The table above is a good representation of the collection of data needed to answer this question. It shows the independent variable (% substrate concentration) at left with the two variables needed to calculate the dependent variable (reaction rate (mm/sec) seen above in the main body of the table. (Note that the title for the table indicates that this is raw data, the data actually collected during the experiment!)

One addition to this table that would be helpful is to indicate the accuracy of the tools used to measure the foam production. The height was measured using a small ruler marked to millimeters. One can estimate to a tenth of a millimeter on that ruler, so the accuracy of the ruler is +/- 0.1 mm. The wall clock was used, so its accuracy was +/- 1.0 sec. If a stop watch was used, the accuracy of the watch is most likely +/- 0.01 sec.
