17. The term resolution refers to the minimum distance between 2 points which can be distinguished by the eye. With our unaided eye, we can't see the individual pixels in a period on this screen, but with a good magnifying lens, we can see that the pixel is indeed made of smaller dots. The lens has a higher resolution than our eye!
