What appears to be a rock penstemon still in bloom along the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 at a saddle above Echo Lake, about one-third of a mile east of Bee Camp, Klamath National Forest.......July 14, 2020. The flowers are not as bright pink as those I'm used to seeing on this species, so there's a possibility this could be Penstemon newberryi. I've called them rock penstemons due to the blue-gray-green leaves.
