Habitat:
Slender hawkweed may be found in vernally moist places in mountain
meadows and on open, rocky or gravelly slopes high in the mountains.
Range:
A widespread species of North America, slender hawkweed may
be found from Alaska south to California and northern New Mexico and east through
the Pacific Northwest into the Rocky Mts. It is also found in the Andes Mts.
of South America.
In the Columbia River Gorge, it may be found at the elevation
of 4300' on Indian Mt.
