Austin's Small-flowered Nemophila, Smallflower Nemophila, Small-flowered Nemophila, Woods Nemophila: Nemophila parviflora var. austinae (Synonym: Nemophila parviflora var. austinae) -

Smallflower Nemophila, Small-flowered Nemophila, Woods Nemophila: Nemophila parviflora var. parviflora - Leaves either all opposite, or some of the upper ones alternate while the basal are opposite. Corolla equal to or longer than the calyx. Small appendages are less obvious, up to 1 mm long, projecting downwards from the base of the cleft between each calyx lobe. Blades of the leaflets broader, more angular than below.

Little-foot Nemophila, Meadow Baby-blue-eyes, Meadow Nemophila, Spreading Nemophila: Nemophila pedunculata (Synonym: Viticella pedunculata) - Leaves either all opposite, or some of the upper ones alternate while the basal are opposite. Corolla equal to or longer than the calyx. Small appendages up to 1/2 the length of the calyx lobes project downwards from the base of the cleft between each calyx lobe. Blades of the leaflets narrower, more rounded than in #2 above.
