Checker Lily, Chocolate Lily, Mission Bells Fritillaria affinis (Synonyms: Fritillaria lanceolata, Fritillaria affinis ssp. affinis, Fritillaria affinis var. affinis, Fritillaria lanceolata var. gracilis, Fritillaria lanceolata var. tristulis, Fritillaria multiflora, Fritillaria parviflora, Fritillaria phaeanthera, Lilium affine) - Flowers brownish to brownish-purple, mottled with green or occasionally white or yellow. Leaves more numerous, scattered and alternate to semiwhorled.

Crown Imperial, Imperial Fritillary, Kaiser's Crown: Fritillaria imperialis - Non-native found occasionally at old homesites.

Yellow Bells, Yellow Fritillary, Yellow Missionbells Fritillaria pudica (Synonyms: Lilium pudicum, Ochrocodon pudicus) - Flowers yellow fading to red or purplish with age. Leaves generally 2 and subopposite, or occasionally more numerous and semiwhorled.
