Tepals twist together over the pistil after blooming. Reported in the Gorge from a collection by Wilhelm N. Suksdorf at Hawk Prairie, Bingen Mt., Bingen, WA.
Common Camas Camassia quamash - Tepals vary slightly in size and shape. Tepals do not twist together and tightly cover the pistil after blooming.
