Bebb's willow as seen at the edge of the bus parking lot at the park entrance train depot, Denali National Park and Preserve............June 15, 2012. The long pistils are wide spreading and are widest at the base and taper slowly to the tip. Male catkins have flowers with 2 stamens. The upper leaf surface is dull green, often with impressed veins. The underside is pale with a dense covering of white, wavy hairs.
