Close-ups of the bracts, calyces, corollas and mid stem leaves of pale indian paintbrush. Note that the lower lip of the corolla is distinctly lobed and is up to one-third the length of the upper lobe. The lateral calyx lobes are linear in shape and 3-8 mm long. The leaves of the mid-stem are entire.
