[Unidentified Wildflowers in Mt. Adams Country]

The above photo shows large, marble-like algae in a shallow stream that quickly goes dry in the spring. Photographed alongside Road K1000 to the east of the Mt. Adams Highway at about 1900' at the southeastern corner of Mt. Adams.......May 13, 2007. The plants seen were up to thumb-sized in diameter.
