Unidentified Fungi of Mt. Adams
Unidentified "coral" fungus from the Island Springs Trail near where it crosses Hellroaring Creek in the Yakama Reservation....................July 2006.
The photo above shows an unidentified coral fungus as seen along the Divide Camp Trail #112 on the western slopes of Mt. Adams....................September 18, 2008. I'm not sure if it is the same species as the upper photo, but it is pictured here with partridgefoot (Luetkea pectinata), dwarf bramble (Rubus lasiococcus) and round-leaved violet (Viola orbiculata).
