What appears to be Torrey's cryptanth as seen along the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 on the north side of Pickhandle Point (southeast of Crystal Mountain Ski Area), Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest..........August 25, 2014.

Nutlets and calyces of Torrey's Cat's Eye, Torrey's Cryptantha: Cryptantha torreyana var. torreyana (Synonyms: Cryptantha torreyana, Cryptantha torreyana var. pumila) - Inflorescence of Torrey's Cat's Eye, Torrey's Cryptantha: Cryptantha torreyana var. torreyana (Synonyms: Cryptantha torreyana, Cryptantha torreyana var. pumila)

Close-up images of what appears to be Torrey's cryptanth as seen along the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 on the north side of Pickhandle Point (southeast of Crystal Mountain Ski Area), Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest..........August 25, 2014. The plants found are annuals and the 4 nutlets are smooth. The calyces are also reminiscent of those of Torrey's cryptanth. Cryptantha affinis is also found in the area.
