The purple coloration in the middle of the meadow is a large stand of elephant-head lousewort.Bruno Meadows is found between Bruno Mt. and Bachelor Mt. It may be reached by proceeding along US 22 upstream of Detroit, OR and turning onto Forest Rd. #2234.
