Foreign fleabane (former variety scaposus) as seen in a moist meadow along the South Loop Road at about 9000' on the Steens Mountain of southeastern Oregon.........September 2, 2011.
This variety of foreign fleabane has now (2011) been lumped into Erigeron glacialis var. glacialis. I've included it by itself as it can be identified fairly easily because it is an alpine species, generally found at higher altitudes than var. glacialis, and because it has much reduced stem leaves which are smaller and narrower than those found in var. glacialis.
