Cliff Dwarf-primrose, Dwarf Primrose, Smooth Douglasia, Smooth-leaf Douglasia: Douglasia laevigata (Synonyms: Douglasia laevigata ssp. ciliolata, Douglasia laevigata var. ciliolata, Douglasia laevigata var. laevigata) - Pedicels 2-15 mm long, the corolla a deep pinkish-rose. Leaves glabrous or ciliate. Coast to the west side of the Cascades from the Olympic Mts to the Columbia River Gorge.

Snow Douglasia, Snow Dwarf-primrose: Douglasia nivalis (Synonyms: Douglasia dentata, Douglasia nivalis var. dentata, Douglasia nivalis var. nivalis, Primula dentata) - Pedicels 3-40 mm long with the crolla brigh red or magenta-purple in color. East of the Cascades from the Wenatchee Mts north to Chelan County in Washington and in northeastern Washington.
