Common Snowberry: Symphoricarpos albus var. albus (Synonyms: Symphoricarpos albus var. pauciflorus, Symphoricarpos pauciflorus, Symphoricarpos racemosus) -

Common Snowberry, Snowberry: Symphoricarpos albus var. laevigatus (Synonyms: Symphoricarpos albus ssp. laevigatus, Symphoricarpos rivularis) - Erect branching shrubs to 3 meters tall. Corolla 3-5 mm long with lobes roughly as long as the tube.

Fragrant Snowberry: Symphoricarpos longiflorus - Erect branching shrubs 1-1.5 meters high. Corolla 7-14 mm long, narrow conical in shape, with lobes abruptly spreading and 2-4 mm long. Corolla glabrous within. Anthers sessile or nearly so.

Creeping Snowberry: Symphoricarpos mollis - Trailing, spreading or prostrate shrubs from 30-100 cm high.

Wolfberry or Western Snowberry: Symphoricarpos occidentalis - Erect branching shrubs. Corolla 5-8 mm long, often wider than long and and lobes about equal to or slightly longer than the tube. Corolla tube densely hairy within.

Mountain Snowberry, Utah Snowberry: Symphoricarpos oreophilus var. utahensis (Synonyms: Symphoricarpos tetonensis, Symphoricarpos utahensis, Symphoricarpos vaccinioides) - Erect branching shrub to 2 meters tall. Corollas 7-9 mm long with lobes much shorter than the tube. Corolla tube typically densely hairy within, although occasionally glabrous.
