The Genus Monotropa

1. Pinesap, Many-flower Indian-pipe: Monotropa hypopithys - Flowers 2 to several. Plants are saprophytic, typically yellowish or pinkish, or occasionally white, lacking chlorophyll.

2. Indian-pipe: Monotropa uniflora -Flowers generally single. Plants are saprophytic, ghostly white or faint pink in color, lacking chlorophyll.
