Alpine Meadowrue, Alpine Meadow-rue, Arctic Meadowrue, Dwarf Meadowrue: Thalictrum alpinum (Synonym: Thalictrum alpinum var. hebetum) - Flowers have both male stamens and pistils present in each flower. Anthers as long as or longer than filaments.

Purple Meadow-rue: Thalictrum dasycarpum (Synonyms: Thalictrum dasycarpum var. hypoglaucum, Thalictrum hypoglaucum) -

Fendler's Meadowrue, Fendler's Meadow-rue: Thalictrum fendleri (Synonym: Thalictrum fendleri var. platycarpum) - Flowers imperfect, having only stamens or pistils present, not both. Anthers shorter than filaments. Achenes erect and 4-6 mm long.
